About Me...

Welcome to Bryson's Blog!

So first things first...I LOVE weddings...and yes I did just capitalise that! I mean I really love everything about them. I enjoy photographing the nervous bride being fluffed at by her adoring bridesmaids, I enjoy capturing the groom and groomsmen joking and getting all of their stuff together and figuring who's tie is who's etc... I adore seeing the father of the bride walk in to see his beautiful daughter on the most important day of her life...The list could go on!

Now I am the type of person who would be tearing up at almost every moment of the day during a wedding but I am also the person who pays thee most attention to every single little detail that could have possibly gone into this day to make it the most memorable and spectacular it could be. My job, is to capture it!

I currently own a Nikon D600 with a couple of lenses, my favourite being my 24-70mm 2.8 and my 85mm 1.8... I have LONG list of desired equipment but hey...we all have to start out somewhere right?! My right hand gal and second shooter Janet also just happens to be my mum! I love the fact that we share the same dreams, same ambition and the same creative eye! We work as such a great team, friendly and fun which adds so much ease to a big stressful day like a wedding.

Janet and I are based in Manchester but would definitely not turn down any weddings that you may be planning abroad?.. Anyone? ..no? okay...

I am currently undergoing my 3 year course in Photography for Fashion and Advertising at The University of South Wales, Cearleon, Newport. I hope to finish with a BA Hon's in Photography and concentrate on fully setting up Vanessa Bryson Photography as my full time job.
