Daniel & Shantine - Pink Fairytale Dream Wedding!
I first met Dan and Shantine in 2013 just by chance...Walking along the sea front of Tenerife we started our first conversation, our holiday immediately became brighter and louder. Two years down the line on Sunday the 29th of November 2015 I got to witness this beautiful couple become husband and wife! We laughed, we cried, we ate and we danced... These two were made for each other..... and I got the absolute pleasure of being their wedding photographer!
It was a huge honour to be asked to be their wedding photographer and Shantine had so many amazing ideas for her big day I just couldn't wait to see the venue!
I arrived at Rosy's house (Shantine's Mum) to be greeted with a delicious pallet of nibbles and pastries and an aura of excitment throughout the household... The bridesmaids like Shantine, talented hairdressers all buzzing around sharing one can of hairspray between them (and Shan's brother Dean!) Well ...you can imagine the chaos! Shantine swiftly slipped into her stunning gown and immediately radiated beauty and channelled her inner princess ready to make her way to the Mallard suite where her adoring fiancé awaited!
The day was filled with laughter, tears, and some terrible but fantastic dancing! The two love birds gazed into one another's eyes as the day passed them by gracefully showing that every second was being cherished... Daniel and Shantine no Mr and Mrs Pallett!
Even the dogs were getting involved in that morning's antics! Champagne was opened by the lovely brother of the bride, Dean, and of course glasses were at the ready to calm the nerves ;)
With a little help from her girls Shantine slips into her HUGE wedding dress and the excitement truly hits for all to see! This is what excitement looks like...
Where would a bride be without her bridesmaids? Shantine had bought gifts for Kim, Claire and mum Rosy to wear to the wedding! Truly beautiful gifts for three truly beautiful ladies!
Chris and I arrived at the venue and had a sneaky look around and found that the room was absolutely breathtaking! Pinks, purples and fairy lights... absolutely emanating Shantine's vision... Just a few minutes to gather the groom and his groomsmen for some pre wedding photos! Dan, his best man (also Dan), his brother Adam and their Dad, Martin! <3
When guests caught wind that photographs were being taken of the lovely happy couple, there was soon a long queue of guests waiting for their turn in front of the lens to document their friendship with Dan and Shantine! How Sweet!! Congratulatory hugs and kisses were exchanged along with high pitched squeals of joy from Shantine and friends re-uniting along with some rather funny faces in the waiting line!
And of course I can't photograph their wedding and attend it as a guest without photographic evidence! Chris and I wouldn't have missed this wedding for the world!
The speeches came after a delicious meal and LOTS of ice cream! Heartfelt, sincere moments, funny memories and some *ahem* secrets best left as secrets were almost shared ;)
After the meal and the speeches the day had turned into night and the drinks then started flowing! Laughter increased, and dance moves were dug out from the closet...

The time came for the newlyweds to share their first dance together...everyone gathered to see the two standing opposite ends of the dance floor onlooking each other and enjoying the first precious bars of their first dance...the floor lit up, surprising all of their guests and myself included! Shantine couldn't have looked any much more of a princess as she did in that very moment she was sharing with her now husband Daniel. Together they danced and twirled, kissed and cuddled until they then invited their beautiful mothers to join them in a beautiful embrace...breaking out into a few crazy dance moves shortly after! <3

Mr and Mrs Pallett...I wish you every happiness in this world, as do ALL of your friends and family who were there that day and even those who sadly were not able... May your hearts grow stronger every day with each other and your love never die for one another....
